After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1993, Steven D. Hitchcock, Esq. spent his entire legal career in private practice in D.C.  He began practicing antitrust with Jones Day and Collier Shannon Rill & Scott (since merged with Kelley Drye & Warren).  Steve then moved to telecommunications and litigation, first with Technology Law Group and then with Bell Boyd & Lloyd (since merged with K&L Gates).  Steve left Bell Boyd as a partner in 2007 to form David Joseph, Inc. Prior to law school, Steve worked in Congress and for the U.S. Department of Labor as an economist.  He did his undergraduate work at the University of Rochester (B.A., 1989, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa).
